When Lyle Olson was asked to recommend a not-for-profit organization to support, he suggested Lake Forest Hospital. Lyle is one of three original Board members of the Edmond and Alice Opler Foundation, a charitable legacy of Edmond Opler, Sr. who founded World's Finest Chocolates, Inc. - a unique confectioner that helps small organizations with their own fundraising efforts. Guided by the late Mr. Opler's commitment to philanthropy and Lyle's endorsement of Lake Forest Hospital, the Opler Foundation has been a generous benefactor for more than 20 years, with annual gifts that benefit the Women's Center, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, radiation oncology services and more.
