| 2008 Annual Fund Appeal - Donor Profiles
Many of us take good health for granted - until it's challenged. Sinec our earliest days, people have depended on Lake Forest Hospital for excellent and compassionate health care. Now, as then, Lake Forest Hospital depends on the generosity of those who feel impassioned to give back. Their generosity ensures that adults and children can find outstanding medical resources close to home. Their support bolsters the health of neighbors and the well-being of communities. Their philanthropy assures the continuity of our patient-focused, forward-thinking, community-based care.
Donors' reasons for giving may differ, and yet collectively, they align to help Lake Forest Hospital build the healthiest future for all who trust in us for care.

Lake Forest Hospital is such a gift. It's like an old friend who truly cares, and its heart beats for everyone in the community." - Barbara Nagel Through fears, tears and cheers, three generations of the Nagel family have counted on Lake Forest Hospital-through frantic runs to the ER, doctor visits, and the joys of childbirth. Barbara and Karl have given 40 years of volunteer work, financial support and stewardship to help the hospital grow. They instilled this spirit of giving in their grown children: Matt, Blair and Joy, as well as their daughter-in-law Becky, who has joined Barbara as a member of the Women's Auxiliary Board. Becky and Blair also felt the hospital's caring embrace when their son was born here - another link in the family's legacy of commitment to Lake Forest Hospital.
